Blue Collar Bagels to officially open June 20 in Rock Island

After a trial weekend run, Blue Collar Bagels will officially open Friday, June 20 in Rock Island, according to the company’s Instagram page.

Owner Patrick Fineran says he spent years in the produce business and started baking bagels. He says he soon realized he had a talent and potential business. About three-fourths of their menu is available as they get started, including around a dozen bagel types. According to the Rock Island Downtown Alliance, Blue Collar Bagels is the type of business they hope will lead to more more growth.

Blue Collar Bagels is in the old Daiquiri Factory location, 1809 2nd Ave., Rock Island.
